When i was a freshman in college we used to play volleyball in our room knocking the cottage cheese asbestos off of the ceiling. Sometimes the floor would be littered with it. Well you see it just isn't the same without the yellow bag as part of your costume. And since everyone is scared of asbestos it only makes sense that an abatement worker is a good halloween costume. So the question lies within the legalities with the use of the asbestos bag (of course there is not actually asbestos in it) its just a bag that yellow and says 'contains asbestos health hazard' etc.
Between Kindergarten and 2nd grade (I'm in my 1st yr of college now) I was in a school that had asbestos ceiling panels/insulation as well as those cancer-causing PCB fluorescent lights. Honestly, what are my odds of contracting something nasty like Mesothelioma? Granted, I know the asbestos was undisturbed, but still, what are the odds? BTW the school district was sued for its endangerment of youth back in the mid 90's, and cleaned up its act since.
