PLEASE TRY TO ANSWER AND 'AN EMERGENCY!
In 4 years I moved into a house in the mountains, very old, renovated, can be made of asbestos?
I moved to 10 in a house with newer ...
Up to 5 years, in summer, I was 2 weeks in a house (my grandfather) and the walls were well protected, but perhaps in asbestos, now I have 17 years, risk anything?
Needless to say my grandfather died of lung cancer, say for cigarettes, now I begin to doubt it ...

I NEED HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!!

There is nothing in your information that would lead anyone to think you were exposed to asbestos. Just continue to get regular yearly check-ups. Your driving would by 10,000,000 times more dangerous than any potential exposure. So if you want to be safer, NO CAR !

Your best bet is to get a chest x-ray. People who have been exposed to asbestos have calcifications along the outer margins of their lungs in many cases, if this is present it is strongly suggestive that you have inhaled asbestos in the past. If this is not present, it doesn’t mean you have not been exposed to asbestos, just that you have not been exposed to enough to show findings on a chest film. Asbestos in walls or around pipes and in place is not particularly dangerous. The people at risk for asbestos are people who remove it or install it.

Smoking plus asbestos exposure raises the risk of lung malignancy greatly. If you think you have been exposed to asbestos ABSOLUTELY do not smoke.
