Has anyone ever identified this insulation? Scientifically supported. I have and these insulations cause 48 diseases our political and scientific communities won't discuss publicly. Why? I have the answer for CANCER! Remove fiberglass from America!

i asked on yahoo answers for people to guess the age of my apartment, the average answer is 1920's - 1930's or maybe slightly older. I wanted to know when they started using asbestos in homes for any reason (insulation probably), because my landlord wants to replace the ceiling, and he really doesn't think about these things before he starts hacking away.

(Heating insulation is my main concern. Is it illegal to remove the asbestos containing material without a licensed specialist in NYC?)

If so, how can i report this matter?

I'm gutting an old Victorian house and am pretty sure the radiator piles are wrapped in asbestos, but I've found some white insulation in places. What about horse hair plaster? Plaese help me identify this stuff so i can take the necessary precautions.

asbestos or mesothelioma. i work around this nasty insulation and its always flying in my face. so im a little concerned. please help.

I am in the process of purchasing a home, however it is an older home with asbestos as heating insulation on the heating pipes.-

Also, asbestos might also be found in the vinyl floor tiles in the basement.

Which is more hazardous to our health ?
Does one become more air bourne then the other?
