There is nothing sudden about mesothelioma it takes at least 25 years to manifest.
    Where is the outbreak occurring?

  2. Alan says:

No, this disease has always been around. Lawyers have started to get more aggressive in their attempts to sue companies for asbethos exposure, because the lawsuits can result if a LOT of money for both the lawyer and the client. Mesothelioma is a nasty cancer that is caused by asbethos exposure, among other things, and people can sue people for negligence/putting them in danger with asbethos exposure. Why? Because they can’t sue the sun for melanoma, or the cigarette companies for all the cancers that cigarettes cause.

It is an outbreak of lawyers looking for clients. The lawyers get a 30% cut without really having to go to court since money has been set aside to pay claims.

    Denise,

Hundreds of milllions of dollars have been set aside to settle the claims. The lawyers have been heavly advertising to attract clients since it is little work for a nice cut of the claim

Malignant Mesothelioma is an uncommon form of cancer that occurs within the body at a section called the Mesothelium. Mesothelioma is known to be divided into the three main categories of Pleural Mesothelioma (70% of all Mesothelioma cases), Peritoneal Mesothelioma, and Pericardial Mesothelioma. Mesothelioma can affect workers working in Abestos mills, or just from being at a place constructed with traces of Abestos and other toxic substances within the materials used to construct the area someone is in.

Often times, those diagnosed with Mesothelioma have no clue that they have been exposed to the cancer causing substance usually until years later when the symptoms caused by Mesothelioma begin to emerge. Mesothelioma is a horrible case, but with the right type of Mesothelioma attorney/laywer, one can be entitled to anywhere from thousands to even millions of dollars in damages.

Mesothelioma treatment options can be discussed with your physician. The treatment options for mesothelioma is often on the pricey side, and that is where attorneys can help you get payment help from employers that may have caused your Mesothelioma. Through Mesothelioma lawsuits, many are able to be compensated a substantial amount, sometimes even in the millions.
